Square One Air ("SQ1AIR", "we", "us") operates the website squareoneair.com and the SQ1AIR mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Location data. When you use Near Me or allow location access, your device's GPS coordinates are used in your browser only — to sort and display nearby air machines. We do not transmit, log, or store your location on our servers.
Zip code searches. Zip codes you type are sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to look up the corresponding latitude and longitude. OpenStreetMap operates under its own privacy policy, available at osmfoundation.org.
Problem reports. When you submit a "Report a Problem" form, we collect the location you reported (brand, address, state) and the type of issue (e.g., "machine broken"). This is sent via Netlify Forms to hello@squareoneair.com so we can correct our data. We do not collect your name or email unless you choose to provide them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Service is used — which chains and states are most searched, whether the app loads quickly, and whether features work. Google Analytics may set cookies and process anonymized usage information (including a randomized ID, approximate location at the city level, and device type). We do not link this data to any personally identifying information. Google's privacy policy applies to data they process: policies.google.com/privacy.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs of requests, including IP addresses and timestamps, for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build profiles of individual users.
We use cookies set by Google Analytics for the analytics purposes described above. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the Service will continue to function normally.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles, there is generally no personal data tied to you that we can retrieve, modify, or delete. If you have submitted a problem report and would like the data removed, contact us with the details and we will remove the associated record.
Problem reports are retained as long as we operate the Service so we can verify and correct data. Server logs are typically retained for 30–90 days by our hosting provider. Analytics data retention follows Google Analytics' default settings (currently 14 months).
